Women Empowerment

Sustainable Dalit Women Empowerment activities are implemented in 17 Target Villages located in 5 Clusters.

The following activities are implemented :

• Conducting / organizing Capacity Building sessions for the comprehensive development of Dalit Women in the respective Villages.
• Planning and undertaking income generation activities for the sustainable economic development of the Dalit groups.
• Information dissemination / providing referral services on accessing Government welfare measures under entitlements.
• Supporting and helping the Dalit groups to access the existing educational and health facilities provided by the Government departments.
• Helping in increasing the organizational strength and participation levels of the Women in Community Based Organizations (CBOs).
• Providing services for self management and help in controlling / eradication of the domestic violence.
